Located in the picturesque southern slopes of the Troodos mountains, KEO’s Mallia
winery represents both the island’s tradition in winemaking as well as the application
of the most modern cultivation and production methods passionately followed by the
oenologist Dimitris Antoniou. The winery dates back to 1927. It lies in the heart of 50 hectares of vineyards planted
with indigenous and international grape varieties at an altitude of 700 metres. Mallia
winery prides itself for pioneering a research into the rediscovery of Cyprus indigenous
grape varieties that due to their scarcity were threatened with extinction. The area’s
terroir in combination with KEO’s winemaking know-how is the basis for the creation
of unique wines the quality of which is decorated with awards and medals in
international and local wine competitions
