Dafermou Estate was founded by winemaker and wine connoisseur Savvas Fakoukakis, in 2012 fulfilling his vision for an own winery in the mountainous Larnaca. The winery harvests only own vineyards at an altitude of 800 – 1150 meters, focusing on the indigenous variety Giannoudi. These single varietal wines have earned the winery awards and high grades globally, proving also the great potential of this Cypriot variety. Savvas and his co-winemaker Constantinos Charilaou, are committed to creating Cypriot wines fully traceable to the winery’s own terrain, while the second generation is passionately entering the Dafermou world.
